Holiday Quick Fix

A battery-powered pillar candle had fallen off the mantel and cracked. It was still functional but ugly. I had been wracking my brain as to how I could repurpose it and had come up empty. As I was about to toss it, I came up with this.

I took some holiday motif burlap and trimmed it to fit the candle, slightly overlapping the fake flame at the top.

And I glued it with a hot glue gun. That’s it. Warning! You cannot do this with a real candle if you ever intend to light it.

Voila.
